Spiritual Warfare The Whole Armor First Christian Church August 25, 2024 “armor of resistance” psalm 84 ephesians 6:10 18 pastor tim i have never played dungeons and dragons before. maybe some of you have or do? so in titling this sermon, “armor of resistance,” i learned this week that “armor of resistance” is a d&d thing. it is apparently known as a “magic item” – giving the player. Discouragement, which is one of our very real opponents, is thwarted by confidence that the lord has saved us. salvation by grace through faith stands as a pillar of strength in the midst of our spiritual conflict. vi. we carry the sword of the spirit. the final piece of our spiritual armor is the sword of the spirit.
