Made in maya 2009. small jump animation of pixars luxo jr lamp, for uni. made in maya. a spoof logo sequence modeled and animated in blender by jacques dulong, with an affectionate nod to pixar's luxo, jr. also used final cut pro, shake, and pro tools. thanks to michael franet for the company name and motivation. Ahhhhh i love this logo. the biggest animation studio in the house. taken from wall e. obviously inspired by pixar's opening title, an attempt to take away the 'cut out' effect in a cut out animation process. this was done in flash. luxo lamp pixar parody the i gets its revenge!. Also included is the 6.25x6.25 inch pixar ball flattened by the curious luxo jr. it complements the lamp with its playful splash of color. to be as structurally sound as possible for such a tall build, i used as few and small bricks. so, despite its size, the build only has 442 parts, making it a more budget friendly set.
