Coolant For 2007 Honda Accord My 99 civic ex with the stock d16y8 recently has been leaking coolant. i noticed about 2 weeks ago that it was leaking from the rad cap as if it wasn't sealing properly. well, i did replace the cap yesterday with an oem honda cap since the one before it was a crappy autozone one. there hasn't. Drop the undertray, dump the coolant, fit sensor, fill coolant, vent coolant at inlet manifold. keep the heater on and engine running until fully vented to dump any airlocks. aftermarket sensors wont always work or fit. make sure its a genuine honda one imo. bhp: ### @ 4500rpm ~ lb.ft: ### @ 2850rpm ~ mpg: ### .

I have a major problem with my 2000 honda civic auto non v tech. i have a coolant leak problem and i have tried many things. i tested my radiator fan, relay switch and everything works fine. i replaced the thermostats about last week because i thought it wasn't working and after 2 days the coolant leaking problem came back. A few weeks ago it was in the low 80s when i was driving around & i noticed the a c was cooling less than last year. the other day i decided to do a diy reading of the temp output using the kitchen thermomter. 63f outside according to car but the passenger side could only get it down to 57f. driver vent temp was basically same as outdoor temp.
