When i looked online for the solution, there is supposed to be a section in my security preferences where i should be able to click on a button that says " developer "forticlient, inc" was blocked from loading". however, that is not the case with me. as you can see on the screenshot below, that option is not coming up.

The linked article sounds promising, however, when looking at the system preferences security and privacy page, there is no blocked extension. any other suggestions besides completely rebooting the machine (which is the only way i've found that works)? macos mojave (10.14.5). forticlient 6.0.5.104.
