Music Classroom Rules Music Poster For Classroom Music Classr I’d been teaching for over 30 years and felt pretty comfortable with the way i managed my music classes. but a few years ago, i took a responsive classroom workshop, and it turned everything i knew right side up! i now use many of the practices, such as interactive modeling, positive teacher language, and rules creation, adapting each as needed to fit the fact that i see students weekly. Teaching music classroom rules and procedures doesn’t have to be boring. teachers and students shouldn’t dread this vital step to establish a positive classroom climate and set the stage for a productive school year. believe it or not, teaching rules and procedures is one of my favorite classroom activities!.

Music Class Rules Song Youtube Practice regularly and put in the extra effort to get better. always be prepared for rehearsals and performances. be open to feedback and willing to make changes based on that feedback. take risks and try new things, even if they’re difficult. persevere when they make mistakes and don’t give up (growth mindset). 2. teach, post, and practice music classroom rules and procedures. i know you’ve heard this before, but teaching and posting your music class rules is the foundation of classroom management. students cannot follow the rules if they don’t know the rules. keep your rules simple, broad, and direct with no more than 5 rules.
