(tanaka), for a 500 kw h2rex ™ pure hydrogen fuel cell system. the system, one of the largest pure hydrogen fuel cell systems in japan *1 , will be installed at tanaka's shonan plant in kanagawa prefecture, south of tokyo.

Tanaka holdings co., ltd. announces that tanaka precious metals will install a stationary pure hydrogen fuel cell system with a maximum generating capacity of 500 kilowatts (kw), one of the largest in private sector use in japan, at the shonan plant in kanagawa prefecture, a key recycling business site for tanaka. The system will supply the required electric power and heat simultaneously by using hydrogen supplied by the fukushima hydrogen energy research field (fh2r) which started up in july. due to be operating in october, h2rex™ is a clean energy solution that uses hydrogen as fuel for co2 free electricity generation and can boot up and start.
